So, to confirm, this is the weekend of October 4th correct? I'll be in the maze the weekend before, and in Denver for the GABF the weekend after. I can't do everything this year damnit! I hate giving in to responsibility.

Looks like I'd better get in gear. I have a transfer case leak, a rear diff leak, a busted rear Bilstein, and who knows what else. Truck seems to be running good though. . .I rarely drive the Audi now, the F250 is just too much fun!

Oh you bastard. Now you're gonna get me hooked on the expensive guns!!! My wimpy little Glock just won't cut it next to an HK!!

Good to hear the truck is doing good, mine's been a blast to drive the last few days with the new tranny. And you've got a LOT less on your to do list than we do! We have this whole problem of Pam's intake manifold sitting on the bench right now. I think I found where all the oil was going, not really 100% sure though. </sarcasm>

Glad you're liking the tranny - hope I don't have to make that upgrade for a couple of years!!

Well looks like i am out.

I bent a tie rod end and need to replace it along with lower ball joint.

Turns out that you can not just replace a tie rod or lower ball joint.

They put a great 4 wheel drive system on the wk, but you can not replace shit.

Fuckin pissed at jeep right now

Going to rip the fuckin Trail Rated badge off my jeep cause not being able to replace a u-joint, tie rod end, or lower ball joint is fucking ridiculous!!!!

Fuck them for calling it a Jeep.

You have to buy the complete rack. Will - check out scrap yards. WKs have been out for 4 years, there have to be a couple around here. How did you bend it? The only way I know to bend one is if the swaybar links are installed improperly.

Well...looks like I may be out. The vibration on the rear driveshaft has gotten worse and I was told today that it is starting to come out of the t-case. SO...looks like I'll have to spend my money on a SYE and new rear driveshaft instead

Anyone who ends up not going that's already got reservations at the Redstone please DON'T cancel them yet. We've got a few people who may need rooms that don't have one yet.

I probably (90%) need a room too. Never thought about that, duh. I'm in the process of moving, but I think I can take off some time for this. Dave, what all should I bring as a ride along? As little as possible I assume? ~Dax a/k/a dirty a/k/a turd polisher

I think most items on my list have been taken care of. I confirmed my reservation last week at Red Stone, swapped in a new Bilstein, replaced the seal between the t-case and tranny, and got a new rear diff cover/seal. I'll drive it around a bit hopefully for a day or so before loading it on the trailer for Moab.
