**UPDATED**
For folks in Colorado, we're organizing a little "Support Our Troops" run April 19th and are planning to do China Wall (near Jefferson). Here is the post on Colorado4x4.org: Support Our Troops Run
We will leave from The Fort Restaurant off of Hwy 285 in Morrison at 9AM, meet up with others in Jefferson around 10AM, and be at the trail head (on the box canyon side) around 10:30AM.

Just another thought for a good place to donate money and maybe see if the guys from the CO. chapter want to go wheeling http://www.patriotguard.org/ .
These guys are great, they were at my sisters funeral in Denver and were really helpful in the precession (sp?) and with helping me out. really a great group of guys.
Awesome, I checked out their web site. I'm also coordinating with the Calvary 4-Wheelers - they're going to collect donations on their April 12th run.
I'm in!!!
I like the idea of takin some of the soldiers from Ft. Carson on the trip. Someone at CO 4x4 said that.
I do not know any troops at FC. I was a 12B in the army years ago.
Think it is great what you are doing and want to be a part of it.
Can not think of a better way to start 08 wheeling in CO. Have some things to iron out on the rig and why not do it for a good cause.
Cya there and thanks for setting it up,
Will
Yup, it's motivated me to fine-tune a few things on my ZJ now, rather than wait until right before GSW.
Looks like it's going to be a pretty good turnout. Soldiers' Angels found out about it today and is sending pins and a banner - we'll see if it gets here on time (I sent 'em money for postage). Hopefully after this weekend we'll have a good-sized donation for them too.
I will try to meet with the springs ppl at 32nd & Colorado at 9.
Cya there,
Will

Hey Stan,
It was great to meet you and get out with everyone. It was long lines but I had a great day and for a good cause. One nice thing about the wait was talking to some of the veterans. The weather was great and my dog actually loved how slow it was cause he got to run around all day.
Wish I took more pictures but was just enjoying the day.
Thanks again,
Will

The jeep looks great Will.
Glad everyone was ok!
WOW!! Just heard about the roll over!!!
The guy that started the idea had his ride along hurt his leg and myself along with another jeep from springs escorted him off the mountain so my day was cut short (well 3pm).
Met the guy (that rolled over) on the trail and he wanted his son around my dog so he would not be affraid of dogs. He is getting a huskey. That was one kewl little kid. Saw him tumble on some rocks and not even a wimper.
Well so glad that neither was hurt. Don't know what else to say. That would be strange to get back and feel great about a trip and later learn that someone was seriously hurt or worse.
oh, thanks matt.
Glad to have met you too, Will. It was a great turnout, and considering the size of the group, it's pretty remarkable that we all got out of there before dinner. We collected about $510 for Soldiers' Angels too!
These are the pics I took of the roll:
He learned a lot from that roll. Fortunately everyone was OK (including his kid who was harnessed in).
