Better be some good apologizing Ted

Gear oil is the stinkiest shit known to man, right next to ATF. Yucko.

Pretty good day at the junkyard today. Got an XJ front shaft with fair joints - not great, but not destroyed. Also got a right rear latch assy and a headlight switch. Ted, I did see a ZJ, but the brake plumbing had been raped. Sorry.

Tires are balanced, tank is full ($80 - ouch), just have to change oil and drain/fill the TC. Think I'll do a partial fluid change in that noisy-ass pig of a power steering pump to see if it'll quiet down.

Thanks for the offer! But I think I'm just going to take the XJ and do some of the stuff I've always wanted to do but never had enough time with the ZJ. For some reason I don't get a good feeling about going crazy and trying to get the ZJ out there just for something worse to happen. I rather it be broke in Denver than Moab (after being apart of Conrads little joy trip last time).

Leaving 7:30am tomorrow...M&G is at 7pm right? I thought it was earlier, like 4pm, last year?

Jeep is all buttoned up, just need to load the entire garage into it

Fluid changes are done, we'll see what happens with the PS pump when I get it good and warm. I was able to suck out quite a bit from the reservoir, so I think I'll leave it where I have it. The juice I pulled out was pretty dirty.

I was all ready to change out the plugs and put in the Champion coppers that I picked up, then looked closer at the Truck Plugs I put in last year...freaking flawless. Pulled each one, greased the ceramics and gapped them. Heep seems to be running nice and smooth now.

In the morning, I just have to arrange the gear in the back, strap it down, then load up whatever the wifey wants me to haul. Can't forget the giveaways my company is providing too.

4pm? No way dude. I rolled in at 6:35 with an empty tank of gas, and you said "Going to the M&G, right?"
