    I have a 1985 toyota it will crank over but as soon as i stop turning the key it just dies out. I havent checked for anything yet because i dont really know where to start. any ideas where i should begin? thanks also anyone have any info on this truck its 85 5speed 22r.

    it sounds like you may have an contact problem with the switich in th ingition on the coloum.
