I've been lurking on here for a bit now so I thought I would share what i have been building. It's a 1998 laredo 5.2L 44re abd 249t-case.
Here she is when I first got it with the BB and stock tires. I put some cheapo tractor lights on the roof along with my spare tire so I would look cool.
I put some 32's on it and flexed the beast out and did some wheeling.
I also took the spare off of the roof becuase I realized how dumb it looked.
Odered up some rims DC-1's 15x8 3.65 BS.
Did a 3.5" f2r swap with RE parts
.
swaped out the toasted 249 for a 242.

Got a brush gaurd for a ranger given to me. It didnt fit at all so i cut up and made it fit. Took some poser shots in my back yard.
Some wheeling shots and some poser shots....
Started doing some fab work on a front winch bumper and a light rack. Center section of the buper is all .25"are just .125 that I had laying around. The light rack is just some old .75 steel tube holding 4 hella 500's wired on 2 switches 2 for flood 2 for spots.
spring 2010 heres how it sat when the snow melted.
That didnt last long. Gotta some 35" procomp XT's, Started cutting up body panels....
Last time on 32's
35's are on. 3.5" f2r lift with a spacer up front to level it out after the winch on stock arms. Pics are next to a 5.9 on 31's with a 4" lift
New TRE set up to keep it going straight.
On the RTI ramp at the Durham 4x4 Show not to bad for stock arms and 35's
Next on the list is control arms and axle work.
like the bumper. never been a huge fan of prerunner style lights but they dont look half bad. cool jeep
I'm liking the build, keep up the good work!
Are you driving with stock gears and 35s? Also, what steering did you use to replace the stock one?
Ya it still has the stock 3.73's for now. Im looking for some better axles and will gear them to 4.56. Steering is just a rugged ridge set up. Not the greatest but it works.
OK so new steering is in and works much better and welded on a guard for the winch.
But I think my right rear shock is toast. Its really squatting under accel.
Some pics of the Millbrook fair 4x4 comp
