Ok, I admit it, it needed to be lowered. Looks good.
more proigress
Your tires are backwards
Great work man.
iroks work better that way!
rear steer???? nice
yes rear steer. and ya things run backawards SUCK int he mud cause they don't move the muck away from the center of the tire. for rocks they do awsome cause it pulls you up shit not away fom it.
nice so far you doing propane
1999 vortec 4.3 liter?
propane would be a step backwards.
so if I was lookin at it right, your running an offset rear axle and centered front? mybe Im just tired.
Very sweet man.
more proggy from tonight
lookin good man!
whats the average budget on one of these, mabye ill start saving ???
I think the budget is access to good tools and having a driveline already! Seriously, building the cage just takes time and tools and a good design like Kraqa has, metal doesn't cost that much
Nice. You work fast.
Ya, running the irok's backwards will get them to work about 70% as well as a good tire.
budget depends upon patience and the ability to build stuff.
If you want something fast, then you don't have time to accumulate parts when you find good deals. If you can't build things then you have to pay someone who knows how to. If you have someone build you a turn-key buggy you'd be in it 30-100k pretty easy. If you do it yourself, assuming 1 ton drivetrain probably 10-25k depending on the level of bling you want.
i'l be around 10k when done. including the atlas, CO's, shafts, fuel cell, motor,
but i had alot of shit lying aorund.
its the small shit that kills ya. liek 250 on bolts. 100 on lexan for the body. 350 on ZJ body panels.
Looks like you will have alot of storage space. Which is all too often overlooked.
chad where ya been man
dont highjack cashflow...
lookin sweet.... cant wait to see the body/dash/interior
wow where are you buying your tube????
last time i bought that i payed less then half that per foot.
I i've left enought room for either an extra seat or major storage. thats the problem i had with the last one. the propane tank was in a good location but i didnt' sheet anything in so storage was the shits.
i have a pallet of 12 gauge aluminum abtou 3' thick that i'm using for this whoel buggy.
its all scraps fro mwork so it will make up everything except the ZJ body panel and the lexan sides.
Damn nice work!
