I think the budget is access to good tools and having a driveline already! Seriously, building the cage just takes time and tools and a good design like Kraqa has, metal doesn't cost that much

    Nice. You work fast.

Ya, running the irok's backwards will get them to work about 70% as well as a good tire.

budget depends upon patience and the ability to build stuff.

If you want something fast, then you don't have time to accumulate parts when you find good deals. If you can't build things then you have to pay someone who knows how to. If you have someone build you a turn-key buggy you'd be in it 30-100k pretty easy. If you do it yourself, assuming 1 ton drivetrain probably 10-25k depending on the level of bling you want.

All depends I guess. It does add up quick still. I priced a stick of 2" .25 wall square tube, $8/foot.

wow where are you buying your tube????

last time i bought that i payed less then half that per foot.

I i've left enought room for either an extra seat or major storage. thats the problem i had with the last one. the propane tank was in a good location but i didnt' sheet anything in so storage was the shits.

i have a pallet of 12 gauge aluminum abtou 3' thick that i'm using for this whoel buggy.

its all scraps fro mwork so it will make up everything except the ZJ body panel and the lexan sides.
