the rear steer axle is ready to be installed. The tie rod and ram mounts are not done but for what i need it is good. Monday i will assemble the hubs and bolt the tires on.

Tuesday or wed build the lower arms and thursday friday put the two halfs of the chassis together. This means saterday i'l shoudl have a rolling chassis with the possibility of the motor installed.......boya!!!

no pics cause the rear axle look liek the front axle except no hydro ram mount.....oh ya and i'm using a surplus single ended ram in the rear.

    OK well here's the update.

First of all i want to let everyone know that the rid height will drop abtou 2" The frame will be modified for the uptravel. and i am convinced that the roof line needs to come down abotu 4"
I'm going to put in the motor and mount my seats as low as they can go them rework the roof to fit the seats. I guess that is a bit of a downside to building the buggy in two halfs but i can't stand looking at the current roofline it looks WAYYYY to high. it 46" from the floor and i'm thinking it shoudl be around 42-40.

Well made some good progress today.

Motor mounted seats mounted roof line lowered.

Side shot showing the body lines.

    Motor mount

    Seats

The Rear seat mount WILL be modified once i decide what T-case i'm using.

I made it so a slight modofication to fit a 2 speed atlas.

Showing how far back the motor is to the front axle. Help balance out the weight.

And the new roof line is 75" to the ground right now. I'm going to be lowering the ride height by 2" this will give me 73" OS and a 20" belly pan
