I blew my spider gears outta my 35, got a lunchbox for 150 bucks, so i figured id polish a turd for a while. now the 35 is about to explode locked in 33' and i got an alum44 with matching gears cheap enough to be worth picking up. I was justwondering if D35 calipers and rotors will bolt onto the alum 44 without modification.

    thanks

They appear to. I compared my D35 calipers to D44a calipers and they looked identical, different part numbers though.

So did you end up using them or not? I'm going through the same shit.

wanna know whats funny? the brakes for my 8.8 where the same as my d35, different part numbers though
96 ZJ swapped in 5.2, 242, 14bolt rear, big ugly home brew bumper, 7.5" of lift in the front 9" in the rear, long arms, hummer wheels with 37s... (dont worry front axle is next)

It should be heavy. Weight is a sign of reliability. If it doesn't work, you can always hit him with it.

hard to do when i go tomorow to get the 5.9. was thinkn they were but i hate to tear one/both apart and have nothing to go back in. especially when one needs drug up out of the yard to work on it. i knew the axles themselves would swap, i just wanted to make sure the brakes were the same way.
