Last year when Keith, I & the kids were coming back down from Bill Moore we saw a real UFO. It hung there about ten or so minutes. It never moved. It finally just popped out & was gone. The sun was not at the right angle for it to have been a reflection of some sort that I could tell.
You can see the all the photos here. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v1...t=Dsc03917.jpg
I actually remember seeing something like that near Buffalo Creek about 10 years back or so. Definitely weird. Hung there for what seemed like the longest time, then just disappeared.
Nice pics! Thanks for the notice Jim, my parents got into town last weekend after driving from NY. They were not up to driving more that weekend. I will get out soon I hope. I got a new front axle this weekend so I have a swap coming up. 4.11s front and rear! That is huge for my 4.0.
Cristi, glad you made it out. I am dying to get Katelyn on a trail and see if she likes it. I have nightmares about your time in Moab happening to me. We will see what happens near the end of summer.
We'll get another run in soon Ken - watch for a little 'uns run at the end of September. We'll be doing switzerland, penn gulch, and one more, pretty much all families. Real easy run for the kids and spouses
Ok since we were talking about UFO's in this thread I thought I would post this here insted of a new post.
When I was going threw photos of Hell's Revenge tonight, I came upon this photo my Dad took. I never noticed it before tonight. I'm very ashamed of myself.
Maybe, just maybe dad caught one. It was in 07 while doing the planners on 7 Mile. What ever it was, it was fast. The photo was taken at 1/500th sec. Perhaps I should send it to Cost to Cost.
That cat is NOT happy!
That's funny. The cat looks like it's about to go OFF.
I do remember that. The UFO passed over us right when Dave took out his T-case. There was even a flash of light, before the T-case let go. Perhaps a change in the metal's molecular structure led to the failure.
I miss Wheeler Lake trail, lots of fun when I lived in Colorado. Once I get married I might move back. Utah has some fun slickrock, but Colorado has better scenery and family type wheeling.
