I'd love to hit OCG, but I'm going to have to pass on this trip.

Tomorrow I'm heading up to LHC with some buddies in the XJ. Next weekend were thinking about hitting Hidden Valley on Sunday if anyone wants to tag along.

    John,

We won't be ready for Sunday, but I think that we'll have both rigs ready for Monday. We were thinking Moody Hill, Crystal Peak, and maybe the chutes on Kelly flats, or Carnage.

I got my new driveshaft in tonight, and got the linkage working so that I can shift the 231. I have to re-weld my sliders from last season on Sunday but otherwise I should be good to go. Justin is having some electrical problems that need fixed. He gets the electric fan or the lockers but not both.

Saturday I have to help Justin wire some new lights in their kitchen, that was the trade for him helping me put the new t-case in the Jeep.

Anyone else for a Monday run?

I've never done Kelly Flats chutes. They look "nice" on the pics I have seen.

We've looked at them before but 33's seemed small for the size of the steps. The large amount of paint on the rocks along with brocken taillight lenses seemed like a warning. 35's, long arms and more paint scrapes makes it seem like a better idea now.

They are supposed to open Crystal Mtn this weekend after they do the annual trail clean-up.

Sunday at OCG is the plan at the moment. Waiting to see if Pam has taken enough Vit C to make it. If so, that would make Dave, Pam, egg (name?), me and maybe Keith. Meet at the Fort? Pick a time and I will be there.

    Who else?

    ------------

Monday, has another group collecting. Vern, Justin...who else?

    ------------

I'm going to be in the garage, then out on a trail, so I won't check back until later today.

They are refering to The Fort Restuarant not the trail head. The Fort is located just off 285 in Morrison (I think). 8:30 at the trail would kill me. it's about 2 - 2 1/2hours from our house to the trail head...

I got the CV I broke at carnage last weekend repaired today, so as long as my network change tonight goes well I'll be able to wheel in the AM

What time were you thinking of meeting up at the fort?

I will be at the Fort at 8:30am. http://www.thefort.com/ Looking forward to runnig OCG!

I just got back from Carnage (LHC). Matt did it in his XJ on 31's. He did get some carnage. He said he would post pics.

A few broken rigs on the trail, a Scout (fan hit his radiator), a XJ (axle shaft), a guy with his mother's Pathfinder (he put a few dents in it and didn't know how to drive at all, stuck and blocking the trail), made it longer then usually.

    29's!

Carnage is fun in a stocker (at least today it was)!

Shouldn't have pushed it on the way down lefthand, then I'd be more or less damage free. But oh well, something to remember the day by. And the kids/hillbilly's were making me mad.

I'll get some pics together and post a trip report.

Sorry everyone. Not going to make this trip this morning.

K2, I have fairly built-up 96 ZJ with long arms, 35s, Full width HP D44 front and a 9inch rear with detroits and hydro assist steering.

My family is still just waking up.

I'm going to get my trailer and be ready to go to either Lefthand this afternoon or somewhere tomorrow morining. On Colo 4x4, I see one guy from the Springs going to Carnage BV tomorrow looking for some company

I am out. I got my e-fan in today, as well as tried on the 32s. The look great but they rub my springs. I need different rims to fit them. I am going to have to get my "new" 31s mounted this week. Have fun.

who ever else is interested, we will be running Moody Hill, Crystal Mtn. and what is left of Kelly Flats (heart attack and the chutes). We are planning to meet at the park 'n ride just off of I-25 and Harmony (Fort collins) at 9:00 AM.

Turn left once you get off I-25 then the park and ride is on the north side.

Post up if you are in so we can get an idea of who to expect.

We hit the trailhead about 11, were off by 3:30. We saw a ZJ where the exit of Carnage meets up with OCG, but never saw an owner for it.
