I was pleasantly surprised how bright the 300 LED strip was. The 3M adhesive is nice and strong.

With as bright as mine are, I'm wondering if the 600 would be too much. Not sure though. I'll have to compare mine to yours.

I have a fair amount left, but I'll likely use it to light up the tail end after the new bumper goes on.

The first few lengths were a pain in the ass to solder, but they got easier as time went on.

    5050 SMD.

It's possible that it either doesn't like heat, or the spot I have it stuck to on the hood hits the upper radiator support. I flipped it on tonight, and I have a dead spot. Hmm...

The dead spot you see is actually to the driver side of the end of the strip. The piece I had didn't go all the way across.

Once the hood/strip cooled down, the dead spot went away. Looks like ambient heat from the upper radiator support was hot enough to piss it off.

The rear short lengths helped quite a bit. I have good light directed at the diff and a little bit of ambient reaching to the back bumper area.
