Who's in? Need to shakedown the ZJ, and give the truck and trailer a good test, make sure they'll work. Fort at 8:30?

I think we will be in. I need to get my exhaust done first. Too loud for my tastes.

You think 6 squirrels on meth with no muffler is bad, try 8 raging gorillas on speed with no muffler!!

I don't have a muffler either, like Dave said, what's the problem.

If you want it more quite, run straight pipe out the back. I had a turn down first, then ran it out the back. It made a big diff. No louder then a Flow Master 40, which I had before the Long Arms.

Maybe if I get the 5.9 back by then. If I do, I might havev to run it with the 33's though. It shouldn't look to funny.

Allthough I'll still have to get the brakes done too. hummm?

Obviously neither You or Dave understand the superior performance characteristics of the 4.0. There is so much power being released out of each long stroke cylinder that running with out a muffler is actually dangerous to close by standers. I know you will all be taking a risk in being near the rush of hot gaseous flow but it is a risk I am not willing to take.

We're thinkin we might drive down Saturday night and get a hotel in BV somewhere. We'd have to skip Bandimere the night before, but oh well.

They sure were. They asked me what kind of built motor I was running. In time the rest of you will be asking too.

If anyone was wondering the snow is gone on Chinamans, I ran it on Saturday. There is still a shit load higher up though on the collegiate peaks.

Dunno if we're heading down Saturday or not now. Apparently there's a ginormous bicycle festival AND kayaking festival so damn near every hotel in town is booked solid.

There was a bicycle race there last weekend with over 300 people racing off road near OCG. It was one of those triathalon events where they also race kayaks, etc. Kinda piggish of them to HOGG 2 weekends in a row.

So we MIGHT be out. The truck's running a bit funny, something with a wiring harness feeding the injectors. If I can get it fixed in time we're still in for sure.

I'd be down for some wrenching. I have to work on mine an hour or so, but should be done well before 8. PM me your number or directions.

We're definitely out. Couldn't get the truck working right, only have 7 of 8 cylinders most of the time, not worth the risk of further damage or getting stuck down there.

    Have fun!

And Matt, thanks again for your help tonight!

Dave sorry about your truck. I hope you get it resolved soon.

So lets do a roll call for Sunday. Whos in?

I am planning on going. I would like to meet at the Fort around 8 am or maybe meet at the truck stop on 285 just before BV around 10:30-11.

OK do to the fact that no one from the Denver area is going to OCG we are going to run a trail nearby instead of driving to OCG on Sunday. Lets try again next weekend to see if more can go.
