Got a little last second Moab trip in the works... Heading out either the 15-18th of this month or the weekend after that. Anyone down to get a Winter Moab fix??

I'd be in if I could walk, and had a trailer, and had actually touched my Jeep with a wrench since October! We're thinking we're going to do a fall trip again this year.

If I didn't have the pesky problem with my exhaust/fuel pump (not sure) I would definitely consider a little birthday trip at the end of the month.

My jeep is getting a new suspension this week, if it's done in time I may try and make it down

I'd love to go, but will be out of town the last two weekends in March. Anyone up for an early April trip?

Alternatively, Cristi and I were talking about an end-of-April trip, there's a hot rod show, for after-trail entertainment. (Hotel prices are high, though)

I expect to get my WJ back from TnT early next week. I will need some time to work out things like bump stops, sway bar links and exhaust. Not sure I will be ready by March 24th but should be good for something in April.

I do plan to run Carnage or something similar to shake things out a bit on late March if anyone is interested.

The guys I'm going with want to do it the 16th weekend, but I'd rather go the 23rd too... let me see if I can get them to push it back. Its a few friends.. One with a lengthened TJ on 37s and a regular TJ on 35s.

Would the April 1st weekend work for the rest of the Fool's?

I think it works for me, but now Cristi is really psyched about going out the end of April for the hot rod show. Hmmmm.... decisions decisions decisions...

I'm pretty open to whenever. Would really prefer the 23-25 if possible, but i could try and shift some things around to try to make it the 1st.

the rod bender show is awesome. I've gone down before just to see the car show.

There's a CHANCE that the end of April could work for us well, but at this point I definitely would not take us into any consideration in planning.

It's usually not this bad! I guess we're just lucky. I think I'm going to hold out for the hot rod show weekend. Hotels will cost twice as much (unless you get a last minute deal), but sacrifices must be made!

if you're going during Rod Benders you better look for a hotel now. It's the 2nd biggest event in Moab next to EJS.

Why don't we go in March and April?

I've made a hotel reservation for the Hot Rod show weekend of April 27-29. Expensive, but what the hell.

April 8th is Easter, so the weekend of the first is when it is going to start packing in with people. It may be tough to find rooms and space on a trail that weekend.
