Yes I was interested in the mounting also.

I like the bumper man! The only thing I think you should change is get rid of that factory hitch, Cut out the tin can of a factory bumper these WJ's have and put your hitch in your rear bumper like I did, the clearance has saved my ass multiple times. Hell if you cut that sheet metal out you could also do the extra storage space like I did

ya that is the plan. I am going to build a new gas tank skid at the same time. but I want the hitch to be the lowest point until I get that done.
than I will incorporate the hitch into the bottom of the bumper.
for now we built brackets that mount to the sides of the hitch.

The bumper is built from 3/16th, but its not all that heavy.
tire carrier, back up lights to follow in a month or so but for now I will sand and sand and sand some more and get it all painted up.

Cool man. Yeah the 3/16 should help you out for sure. I built mine out of .230 (basically 1/4") and it's gotta be over 100lbs.

wow that came out real sharp...any reason you didnt want to ditch the hitch and weld in a receiver?

is there a tire carrier being built next?

also, ill be building my rear bumper soon, still requesting pics of how you mounted it...

    again looks sick..

I am going to be raising the hitch up about 4'' so the hitch itself will be the final mount, as of now I have some 3/16th plate that I put in on each side to locate my mounting position.

Ya I have been playing around on autocad for the carrier, I am currently not working so all jeep related items have been put on the back burner.

once I get the mount done I will post up some pics.

It's been years since I've posted on here. But I figured why not put on an update.

Still have the jeep pretty much the same. Added some lights and a winch and a cage and I am in the process of installing onboard air and moving my batteries. Here are some recent pics.

Pretty loud. I have a switch in the back by the hatch though so it only runs when I am outside the vehicle filling tires.
