I am planning on doing a backway to Crown King Run sometime in early November. I would like to do a Saturday or Sunday run, camping out near Lake Pleasant the night before.
Most of you in the Phoenix area are familiar with this trail. It makes a great all day run that starts in the desert and finishes at just under 7,000 ft. in the mountain town of Crown King (complete with an old west-style saloon). I have run the trail once before with a wide array of rigs. A mildly built grand (31's) can make the trail on the easy lines. Other tougher parts of the trail can challenge well-built rigs. IIRC, all of the tough obstacles have by-passes.
I have one other rig going as of right now, anyone else interested?
