Made them out of 1\4" steel, brought the steel down to Tacoma to a machine shop and had em bend a 90 down the center, fastened em with self tappers which have held up well so far, finished em off w a little spray- on bedliner.

I like the rockers as well......did the same thing to mine last fall w/ 3/16" steel. Definetely a good mod.

Are they capable to hold the vehicles entire weight.. or just offer some more protection>? I want to do something that is completely bullet proof seeing that I would like my doors to stay fully functional. Can you state that these are up to the task of doing that? Or should I just stick with the sliderz.
