you dont even want to know, i have the one from the bronco, the one i picked up b4, the spidertrax one, two i picked up locally. and enough spare parts to make a completely new one

the first one i bought had a cracked 3rd member case, then i found another two for one deal and they had the same gear ratio as stock jeep so im going to save regearing untill later... then also trying to get some for the yj

update time:

working on front axle, i found a hp d60 off of an 01 superduty, yeah not ideal but the price was(ball joints and unit bearings), working on brakes for it right now, going to do 4 piston willwood calipers with a 14 inch rotor meaning ill have 14 inches up front and 11.8 in the rear (should help me stop eh?)

found a 35 spline arb for a decent price, need to get some 35 spline stub shafts may wait a bit on those to save some money, going to order another spidertrax housing for the front but that wont be for a bit. also ordered some bar pin eliminators from JKS because something in my front is clunking and i cant figure out what it is maybe these will help.

i find it odd that my front axle will be stronger than my rear with 35 spline shafts in front and only 31 in rear, but both should be a HUGE improvement over the 30/35

an interesting note for anyone f350 and f450 have interchangeable unit bearings with the f450 ones being stronger

ill stick some pictures up eventually

So you are swapping the Ford knuckles and hubs onto a low pinion 60? Is the lp60 a chevy or dodge? Just curious why you'd go to all that trouble to have the weaker Ford knuckles and not be able to run stock d70 35 spline outers...

for some reason the driver side coil hits the sway bar while the pass side has like 2-3 inches of clearance, that's an odd one that ill need to figure out

Mine had this problem too, the sway bar tended to travel to the passenger side making the driver's side contact the frame at the track bar bracket. It wasn't the track bar, I'm sure it was square under the vehicle, it just liked to slide in the bushings.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v121/jademonkey/IMG_1833.jpg

that last picture was taken at full lock on the driver side on level ground, i think if i remove the coil spacer it will push my axle forward enough that it should be ok. sorry that picture is so blurry. i will also be cutting the front of my rockers to move them back a bit i think

need all the brake components, calipers, caliper brackets and rotors.
and need to figure out what i want to do with hubs, either buy new ones or get mine machined down to 5x5.5 bolt pattern.

cant remeber the width of the top of my head right now, i bought the two shortest stock 35 spline d60 shafts and made it to that width. the long side shaft is a 35.1 inch long Dodge and the other is a 17.67 inch long Chevy.

NICE man! I don't know how I missed the last updates about the 609 build, that thing came out pimptastic! As of today I'm only down to needing inner C's :D. But I have to get em bored out for the housing hah.

I also didn't want to run full width so I did some hunting around. I ended up finding a couple pair of 78-79 ford D60 shafts to start with. I'm going to use the long side from the 78-79, and the short side from the 80's ford (got a chromo yukon lined up to buy, it's about 3" shorter than the 78-79 at 16" long). It should net me about a 66" WMS.
