I've been on this forum for quite sometime, and I feel that my jeep is getting close enough to being worthy, here are some of the specs on it.

The funny thing about this build is that I have bought everything used and I mean everything, except my tires. The wifey wouldn't have it any other way.

1998 5.9 Limited

Stock 30/AL44 (soon to be locked with Aussie)
Stock 249 (231 soon)

RE 4.5 Superflex, I replaced the stock spacers in front and put in 2" spacers to give me 5.5" total, while leaving the back at 4.5". This leveled out the jeep nicely and got rid of that nose down look.

OME Shocks all around with Shock conversion in the front

U-jointed slip fit Driveshaft

I'm running 33/12.50/15's Trxus MT's which I love, on 4" backspacing on the wheels, they're close but tuck up nicely.

ARB Bumper w/ Warn 9500 HS

Things I would like to get completed on the Jeep
1. Sliderz, Sliderz, did I forget to say Sliderz
2. Stop being cheap and order my D-rings
3. Re-gear to 4.56
4. Make a new Transfer Case Skid
5. Rear bumper with Tire Carrier

This is my DD and I want to keep it this size until I can lock it completely up and learn to wheel with less of a rig. Then, when the bug bites me again I will go to Long arms.

And some trimming in the rear, the front isn't done yet, but clears at everything but full flex it touches a bit.

I know I know, I will get some wheeling pics, but this setup is really new and I haven't got all the bugs out yet.

let me know what everyone thinks!

Thanks,
Dave

Alot of things have happened in the last months for me. So mostly I have been working on the jeep and slowly getting somewhere...

Here are some pics to show some work.

I must be one lucky guy, because that 231HD that I bought from zjeepin, matched up perfectly. He was running an AX-15 I believe and it matched up to my 46RE.
Thanks to everyone that helped me with the linkage problem, I stopped being a sissy and just started cutting to get stuff to work.

I now have two double cardan CV Driveshafts

Next on the list for the pile is some square tubing for sliderz and a transfer case skid.

Alright,

I got some more trimming done on the front ARB and fender. The tire now stuffs nicely, but I still have about 1/2" until I contact the bump stop. Right now I can turn the tires completely turn to turn without touching anything, but the sway bar end link axle bracket. So I need to cut that off and extend it or buy some longer ones.

Below are some pics of the fender trimming and some cheezy poser shots, I'm thinking my shocks are a bit too long and working as bump stops (shocks were for 6.5" of lift) I'm at 5.5 front and 4.5 rear. If anyone thinks it could be something else, post it up

The last pic shows the coil and bumpstop, I need some recommendations as far as making some bump stops, or just cutting more. I don't mind cutting more, I'm just not sure I need to now.

Lastly here are some of the next planned mods (tranny cooler, and CB, all the CB stuff was free  )

everything looks good man, but do us all a favor and finish the fender work, it would look way better cut along the special line everyone loves so much. Not trying to be mean just saying.

As of right now no... I won't be able too, but if I get my old job back then I will be working nights so maybe I can swing something...

The weekend shift I am on is good for the kiddies, but sucks for anything else LOL
