aaarrrggghh!

(8.8 high clearance axle bracket kit)

photos taken this morning showing my teraflex springs sitting on clayton's lower coil pad - the machined helical groove doesn't match the spring profile - the spring doesn't seat properly and is not centered

fired off an email to clayton - i guess i'm not installing the springs today - :(

Doesn't really seem like that big of a deal...

So Tera springs smaller diameter than Clayton's or REs?
DUH - I know - you can save the typing!

unfortunately, there's no way in hell they can be forced - and even if they could, that's half-assed and would come back to haunt you when you least expected it

i guess you're one of the few on here to run into this situation - clayton should note on his web site which spring manufacture(s) or what spring diameter they are cut for - i would have definitely made sure i had the correct springs before starting the install

whacha end up doing? new springs?

next question: which springs DO fit?

I don't see why you couldn't take a little more material off the mounting pad where it's hitting?

Just call Clayton, I've yet to see him not make someones frustrating problem right.
