my power steering has been going for a while now, and last night it completely shit the bed, so I decided to replace the pump. I had ordered a replacement from auto crap zone, and it has been sitting in my garage. for a while. the only problem now is that I cant figure out how Im supposed to swap the valve and control box for the speed proportional steering. also I cant get the old pulley off the old pump so I just bought a new one down at the stealership, but it looks like I need to get that off too before going further?
any help will be very mch appreciated as I am becoming extremely frustrated.:smt013

You'll need a special tool to remove the pulley. Ironically its called a pulley puller. Doesn't cost all that much I want to say its around $10-15, but its been a long time since I bought one.

Don't know anything about the speed proportional steering.

i bought a puller and it still wouldnt budge... it was as if it was welded onto the shaft. so i bought the new one instead. but the other part is what is killing me something fierce
