After an off road accident I will no longer be able to make it to GSW. I am now in rehab in vallejo CA. I was up on a trail that was too small for the rig I was driving and things got hairry and had to turn around. The snow was melting and turning to ice under the trees and one thing let to another and I woke up in the ICU. Truck went end over end down a 500 ft cliff and I was out cold in the snow for 2 and a half hours till another off roader saw my truck from another trail. I shaddered my T13-14 and can no longer use anything from my waist down. So for now I guess GSW has gotta wait. :( Guys have fun and be safe!!

crap man, sorry to hear about your accident!!I really need to look into getting a cage soon, these unitbodys are not the best in a roll over

hopefully you will eventually be able to get in a rig with a hand throttle/controls or something.

Wow wow wow- I'm glad you're alive, and I'm praying for a safe and speedy recovery.

You should get an RC Jeeps so you can wheel with us in spirit.

Thanks guys, its tuff but I know I gotta keep going. I was checking into hand controls today, even tho I'm still in rehab I still gotta think about things to do when I get out. Im not going to let this stop me from going off road I love it and would not let a little screw up stop me from doing somthing I love. Thanks for all the support guys! Ill post up some pics of the rig when I get a chance.

There is a guy here in SLC named Clay Egan who drives in the UROC pro series and is paralyzed from the waist down. He uses a specialized hand throttle/brake setup to drive. I can get you his contact information if you like.

That's because you have never seen what an IED can do to a guy.

Rollinballsdeep- Just let me know if there is anything you need. I have a close friend who makes hand controls and specializes vehicles for a living. I have also wheeled with a couple guys who have thier legs immobile. Just get a good winch bitch.
