My annual rap: There are very few companies that support our passion for building and wheeling our Grands. The companies that donate to our events deserve first shot at our business -- even if their prices are a little higher than the companies that do nothing for us. Please support the businesses that support us. I am starting this list of businesses that are donating to the GSW Saturday night raffle. I will keep the list updated as donations are made.

I ran out.:(

Meguiars was one of the first to promise a donation. About a month ago I sent a reminder and they assured me the shipment is scheduled and we'd be taken care of. Two weeks ago I sent another inquiry and was told not to worry. Last week they told me it is shipped. I leave for Moab Tuesday morning and it's still not here. If it doesn't get here tomorrow (Monday), there won't be anything from Meguiars unless I can convince them to ship 2-3 days directly to Redstone Inn. Maybe it will get here tomorrow. But Scott, since I have no idea what they intend to donate anyway I'll grab you a few bottles from the store Monday and bring them with me. Of all the wheelers I know, you're still up there in taking pride in the way your rig looks.

That stuff is more expensive. We do sell more of the new stuff but I'll grab a few of whatever I have the most of in stock for ya Scott.

OK, now I get it. Actually, we award them as trophies to the guys that the trail leaders feel have the biggest, well, nutz. This doesn't mean the the guys with the best built rigs, and certainly not anybody with a buggy--but rather someone who has guts (not stupidity) to do what we do with our Grands. Guess after this year I won't ask Truck Nutz to donate them in the future if you guys don't see them as trail trophies as they were initially intended. I wonder how many of you actually going to GSW this year also feel that we should not try to get these donated as trophies. This is not a poll! Please don't turn it into one! Just let me know at GSW if this is offensive or a bad idea in your opinion.

Actually for something like that, I think it's a pretty cool idea.

I would hang a set up in the garage if it was because I got them as a "trophy" for having the biggest balls.

I just pictured like 50 ZJs and WJs with nuts hanging off the back bumper when I first read it :-D

The truck nuts are very similar to the spatula award we have for whoever rolls at GSW.

After I posted the thread, I went to the URL site and discovered that they were for raising money for testicular cancer. Now that I know that, I have revised my opinion to be favorable. For years mens' problems have been ignored while women raised money for breast cancer. Its about time we watched out for our own balls.:D
