I'll have my new lift and locker installed by this weekend, so I'd like to do something this Sunday. So does anyone near Denver want to go wheeling Sunday?

Any suggestions of what might not be snowed in? Everything I did last year, is too high in altitiude and will still be covered in deep snow I'm sure.

It doesn't have to be too nasty, but I'd like to do something to break in the new lift before I head down for EJS on the 12th.

How bout boulder carnage? Slaughterhouse? The OCG run that we never got to do because of weather(or has that already been rescheduled?)?

Let's run Radical Hill! ;):D

OCG was never run due to the snow. I'm not sure what is snow free at the moment.

Yeah.... There's never snow up there, and if there is, it can't be deep. Nope, no way you'd get stuck.

Yep, this weekend looks like a good time for mountain wheeling.
Breck got 5" and still snowing, Vail 9" and still snowing...so bring your chains! ;)

You Jinxed me dammit!

Sadly no wheeling for me this weekend, the lift is installed but a delay in driveshaft fabrication means it's undrivable until at least Monday.

I just got back from near Radical Hill. I made it to the other side of the pass actually. I didn't even need chains. I went up to around 13,000ft, then cruised back down. It was so much fun I went up and did it again. I got in tons of round trips from around 10,000ft to 13,000ft, since hardly anyone was on the trails. Lots of snow and sun! My legs are sore. A great day to be skiing at Breckenridge.!!!!!:D:D:D

Nice. I tried to go up to Middle St. Vrain but the gate was still shut. Hiked about 3 miles until close to Timberline Falls, but then lost the trail in the snowpack. Camped overnight at Gordon Gulch just NW of Ned... pretty cold. Came back along USFS roads to Sugarloaf Mtn. this morning, all of which was 99% clear of snow. Fun overnight, maybe Webster is in order next weekend!
