this may be dumb but i am putting a 9" in the rear of my xj and want to have matching front patteren. The axle width doesnt really bother me as of right now. I know where i can get a stock cj front end for practically nothing. does anyone know if i can put the kuckles and rotors off the cj on the xj front end? i was thinking about that on my way to school! i have no clue just wondering if anyone knows. thanks.

they are diffrent wont work-
You could put D44 knuckles on the CJ axle.

yea but he wants to keep his d30- there arent any knuckles that are setup for 5 x 5.5 for those c's- you could hed some custom hubs and rotors made up but investing that loot into the d30 smay not be the good choice
Technically I think it would be possible.

Really building ANY hybrid / axle modification is possible, it just depends how much work you want to put into it.

If the 9 is wider you could run a spacer/adapter that converts the lug pattern on the front... downside your looking at $79 for ebay spacers...
