does anyone rock this? I'm probably going to get it and not sure if its going to be worth the additional fab to make it work.

stock WJ knuckle or modified tera knuckle?

If stock, you'll need to space it it out so the shafts / ujoints working without binding and destroying themselves. If you use washers, I'll have to hurt you!

By the way, you know a knuckle is steering!

I am in the process of doing that, can not tell yet if it is worth the spend time and money. My Zj is not driveble yet.
I think however it will turn out fine.

ok I can understand the spacer thing, l suppose the one from JKS is what is necessasry to use but what about the brakes.? can the WJ knuckle be used on a HP 30 with the ZJ brakes and a spacer? plus I want to use aftermarket axle shafts and elimate the CV type axles. what about just using the xj knuckles and brakes on the XJ high pinion 30 that I have been given?

As a side note: the spacer needs to be welded in place, otherwise the weight of the vehicle is residing on the 3 bolts, instead of the taper fitting of the hub like it's designed.

wow, interesting. I would guess that if i had not know this, i would have figured it out whenever i went to put my brakes back together?

I do have a 92 HP30 with zj hubs/discs/rotors fyi.

I realize that you are only discussing the Passenger side because it has the steering knuckle on it. However, you need to change both sides. You can not use the ZJ brakes. You will need to use the WJ brake calipers or something else that bolts on. The WJ knuckles have 2 bolt holes to mount the brakes to, the ZJ have cast in brackets. So to keep your braking the same you will need to change both sides.

I used the spacers, had them braised on.

I have Superior's Super 30 CroMo shafts.

All on a 95 XJ Hp30.

Still sitting in the garage, so no seat time with this setup.

Also watch the wheel/caliper clearance. WJs all came with 16" wheels to clear.

Good Luck!

You can grind /shave material off of the WJ caliper to fit 15" wheels. Proper backspacing can / will also help greatly with the clearance issue.

Does any one have pictures of all this?

I'll try to dig 'em up, but it was like 4-5 years ago we did this on a TJ with an XJ axle. We had to have spacers custom made back then, since WJ's were new and the conversion wasn't well known.
