Nothing like 39.5"s on 20"s. This one is ridiculous, but it does get wheeled (lightly) occassionally. (friend of a friend)

Sorry for the hijack.

Surf092: When you did the 4:56 gears did you have to replace the front carrier? Also did you have to replace the rear carrier when you did the gears and the Aussie? How is everything performing? I want to do at the least the gears in mine. Randy's R&p Say I don't have to replace the carriers but, drivertrain direct and a couple of other companies say I have to replace the front d30 carrier? What did you do?
Thanks
Ron

I will try to get some decent driveway shots up this weekend. I have some more loose ends to tie up on the WJ before it's going to get wheeled again. Hopefully I will have more free time to take it out on the trails this year.

And a minor project to test out this weekend:

The close up pics were taken at Just Tires @ Harvest Oaks, the others at Auto Park Jeep. I has the Daily Driver decals made at a local sign shop...I think a website has them for dale somewhere, but I can send you one if you like.

I picked these up used. They're the prototype used on Mike Moze's WJ that SXOR built. 1/3" steel. Installs with 8 rivets per side. I'm not sure if I am going to install these or put my KOR sliders back on. I had the thought of keeping the SKOR rockers on full time and using the KOR sliders in combination on wheeling trips, but that might be a hassle.

Custom built... and not supported well IMO... an impact to the rear of it looks like it would fold the skid right into the case.
