i was driving through a dirt road the other night, hit a rut at about 50mph and broke the driver side lower control arm mount. it completely ripped off and sent one side of the axle all the way back to my rocker panel. the new bracket i ordered came in today but it didn't have the doohickey for the cam bolt, just a flush bracket. can i just weld it right up and bolt everything back together or do i have to have a specific bracket?

YOu dont need the cam bolt.. But I would make sure you get the bracket welded in the right spot .. Measure twice , weld once...

If you have to pull the axle forward I have used a big ass ratchet strap from the tow hook to the lower side of the steering nuckle to pull it forward..

It worked for me..

Same thing just happens to me, though the bracket is just bent back on the pass. lower mount at the axle. Where can you get these brackets from.

I found them at Rusty's, and stronger with the alignment tabs already there, like they make a differance.
