I just put a Dana 44 in the rear with long arms and when cycling the suspension through they are the first thing to get tight without much downward movement. BUT, I did this without my shocks on so I may just be going too far anyway. I will be welding on my shock mounts today and getting some measurements for my shocks so I will try it again with shocks. I'm running the RE 4.5" springs with about 1" added in on the coil bucket and I still need to move the axle back and inch or two. We'll see.

go to your local parts store and look up cables for old grand wagoneers. they come in different lengths, our local advance auto can even pull up pics and measurements of them on there computer. ill see if i can find some part #s at my shop tom.

I had some time this evening to check it out and with the springs just barely unloaded the e-brake cables are drum tight. I had a YJ beside it and looked underneith and the passenger side one was considerbly longer so I'm just gonna get a pair of those to put in.

I never had a problem with the stock cables and LA's, and my craps flexy.

You can always extend the threaded segment of the adjuster if you need to.

Lokar makes extended e-brake cables. You can get them at Summit Racing.
