i'm looking to do a decent amount of welding in the future and I'm in search of a nice mig welder that I can use to weld brackets and such to frame bodies. So, if you have a used one you would like to get rid of, give me a price! Thanks.

ebay is your friend but rarely is there much of a deal on 220v machines. I just got my refurb hobart 180 from toolking on ebay for 511 shipped.

but is the 180 strong enough for suspension work? Like welding cross members that will support the control arms?

yes its strong enough does upto 5/16" single pass. Its the size welder most people buy that want to do suspension work at home because most people cant afford/justify 1600 for a 200+ amp welder.
