Still got @#$# of stuff to do to it, big ones being multiple pickups in the fuel cell, diy beadlocks and getting the 8274 on the front, but she's a blast...

One thing tho... build your friend something like this:

...so he stops hugging the cage!

yea, after we saw the pics we had to give him a little shit about that. There is a handle for him but being a big guy he kept reaching for the cage instead which was at a better distance...

Where's the radiator? Can't find it in any of the pics, but there's not really a clear shot of the back.

Awesome... I've got a buddy that has a line on an `88 waggy - cheap.

I gotta send him a link to this.

Yea, yea, I know I looked :gayflag:

Tires - dying to get some 38s or better but I'm probably going to have to splurge on chro-mo shafts and OX joints at the same time. Those 35s look tiny and they're certainly what's holding me back nowadays, but the rig is also pretty ballanced in that I don't break too much crap with the 'smaller' tires (well, at least not typically, read below).

Radiator - in the back:

BTW, made a little progress this weekend. Started doing DIY beadlocks (screws), tested and mounted the 8274 in the front and a few other little things. Unfortunately the 'to do' list got a little longer though since the post-trail inspection report yielded bad drivers side ball joints, a loose u-joint cap and missing c-clip on the drivers side and an obliterated but still somehow in one piece passenger side u-joint (cracked two caps and the cross but it's still in one piece). Also got a steering and trans leak and a few other misc items, but the u-joints and ball joints will need replacing before it goes out again for sure....

I'd like to put a soft top on it again, but that's about it, no winshield planned. I don't mind wheeling in poor weather. I probably will put an inverted solenoid on the fan though so I can blow hot air at myself for a quick warm up...
