For a front waggy d44 what would you guys recomend? I was thinking full detroit with alloys shafts and ox joints, with warn premium lockouts. any other sugestions? or would this be my best bet, and strongest for a d44

I was using warn premiums before I went 4340 and CTMs and I kept destroying them. They're definitely your weak link and you may want to consider lockouts if you don't daily drive the rig.

Stick with the hubs and carry at least one spare. That way you can unlock for the road.

Since you'll have hubs you can do any one them. Go with what you can afford. I run a Lockrite in my front only because it cost me nothing when I installed my front 44 and sold my rear 44 with open diff (that used to have the Lockrite in it). ARBs can suffer air line problems so keep that in mind. EZ lockers, in my experience, tend to wear out faster than lockrites mostly because of the springs. I have never known anyone to run a full detroit in a daily driver with hubs so I can't comment there but it's probably your best bet for strength and ease of use/maintenance.

Forgot to add that with the Lockrite or EZ locker you can carry your spider gears in case you break the locker. That may help in deciding too.
