I'm cutting off my old D35 brackets and welding them to the 8.8 tomorrow so im trying to get the rest of the parts i need to finnish the install. Looking at websites for this swap into TJs and YJs they list the 8.8 yoke adapter as Spicer P/N 2-2-1379. Can someone verify that this is the same for the ZJ?

I bet if you did a search you COULD find it.

TJ and YJ yokes use 153X joints, correct? Then it'd be the same, right?

That was my point, Guess I should've been more assertive about it :weedman:

I've been searching this topic for months and this is the only place ive found where there is actual information from people who have done this swap to ZJs. Ive posted on two other forums before i found this one and had no replies to before i started the project.

This site and you guys are my frickin gold mine for information! Thanks for the quick replies.

That link should be ALL you need to complete the swap.

AW certainly wrote the book on the 8.8 swap that's for sure.

Yeah lots of writeups now. When I did mine, I found info about putting one in an XJ and that was it.
