I have a 1985 Kawasaki Ninja 600R for sale. It runs beautifully, with the exception of needing to clean out the carb (sitting for a lil while). It was never dropped by me, but the tank is slightly dented, and there is a new paintjob, but does have some scratches. It is a perfect started bike for anyone looking to get started, and not have to worry about dropping it. And its still got some balls for an 85. I am only looking to get $1500 obo. I think this is pretty good b/c I saw a 91 parts bike go on ebay for almost $2k. The bike is located in Latham, NY (about 5 miles north of albany). Please pm me/im me at offroadzj94/email me at turboiirx7@hotmail.com.
Thanks

Kenny

I will add some pics tonight.

Also, the sale includes a brand new battery, and a new rear sprocket (starting to wear down) The battery that is in it is only about a month old, but I accidentely ordered two, so my loss, your gain.

shipping to LA (just used to get an estimate) will be about $800 through one company, but I will check out some others. What is a more accurate city/zip?
Thanks

it looks like shipping is going to be atleast $800... so you'd be getting a good running starter bike for about $2300... which is what this thing is actually worth... lol.
Let me know.

Kenny

EDIT: according to the Red Book (KBB for motorcycles) the private seller value for a 1985 KX600 Ninja is between $2300-$2700. The trade in value is between $1500 and $1800.... so its a pretty good deal for just a bit of minor work.
