I just put 31x10.50x15 BFG AT on a grand with 2 inch spacer lift stock rims
it is rubbing on the lower arms both sides.... Is this because of back spacing on rim?? what is the back spacing on stock 94 limited, and what back spaceing and size of rim should I get if I need new rims???

Thanks Guys in advance.. And sorry this is so basic. Need Help

I doubt the tires are rubbing on both of the LCA's, if you didnt fix your trackbar after lifting it, its probably only rubbing on that one side. Just throw some washers behind your steering stops so it wont let you turn your wheel that far. Its a cheap fix. Also stock wheels have 5.25" backspacing.

Why don't you crawl under there and find out where it's rubbing? :butthead:

10.50 tires shouldn't rub against the LCA's. Period. Unless they have sidewall tread lugs the size of a Coke can, start looking for the real problem.

Check out your plastic inner fenderwell. You might have to trim that.

245/75R16's on Pam's ZJ rub the LCA, and they're not even 10" wide.

I had the exact same setup and mine only rubed the front skid plate and the sway bar. They were close to the CAs but didn't make contact at any flex/turn combo. my II :weedman:

You boners must have completely forgotten about budget boost issues. Yes, a 31x10.50 will rub on the LCA at the locks. Mine do, I just don't turn all the way and I have no issues. (until I adjust the stops)

...... and you posers make fun of the newbs for not knowing shit. Hahahaha. :finga:

My BB doesn't rub LCA's at full lock, it rubs the sway bar. How do I know this for sure? Took the sway bar out of the equation.

I know 100% what i'm talking about, and I wanted to make sure the guy knew for a fact it was the LCA's and not the sway bar.

I had a 1998 Mustang vert, all showed out and corner carving, But Moved from Northern Ca to Arizona and needed a truck. Had to trade it in for a Tacoma DC.

Post Ford mistake hijack: After putting TJ Cragar-ish wheels on my ZJ to update the look I found that the back spacing was more (I think that is right) and I was rubbing before full lock on the drivers side w/235s. So I put some WJ LCAs on to get more wheel clearance at full turn. I still had to put washers in after going to 31s, but it still turns tight enough to do the switch backs on Black Bear without two pointing them.

Another plus is that the WJ LCAs don't bend when you drop them on rocks like the stock ZJs do. You do need to get them machined narrow enough to fit in the brackets, but worth it.
