Anybody know the ACTUAL dimensions. Im helping my brother with his buildup on a fullsize Jimmy and obviously we want to run the largest tire on the smallest lift. We can run about a 36.5 but it is going to hang sheetmetal if its a true 37 (cant trim....it looks too good and its an antique now...lol). I think I remember reading here or somewhere they were more like 36's, but wanted to check. Thanks

Can't you pull the actual measurements off of goodyear's (sp?) site?

I didnt figure they would have them because its not actually a 37...would make them look bad. Im gonna check tirerack and goodyear though....I was really just lazy and thought somebody might know off the top of their head.

Ummm......

I don't think they offer that in a 16" Rim. Only 15 and 17

Thanks!...I found most of what I needed on TireRack....but to find actual size of some other tires (current MT's Baja Belted) I had to go to the MT webpage. 36.5 huh? We are going to be pushing it. maybe a wee bit of trimming is in order...

Just look at the OD measurements on their spec sheet:

http://www.goodyeartires.com/goodyeartireselector/display_tire.jsp?prodline=Wrangler+MT%2FR&mrktarea =Light+Truck

most manufacturers include this info...

Mine measured up a hair under 36 on 15x10 rims with no weight on them. My Maxxis 37's measure up a full 1.5" taller on 16x9.5 rims.

I could have sworn I had heard someone say MTR's were like an 1" shorter than 37....I guess my memory wasnt so bad afterall. We are mounting on some 15x10 steelies so maybe thats what they will come out to. Im gonna go ahead and order them. Hopefully I wont have to cut but oh well if we do.
Thanks Cody.

Ahh hell just don't air them up all the way. Shit, you could run 40's that way if you wanted!
