I was haveing some troubles gettin my rig aligned probally because it was once totaled in the front.
They could get it close but it still pulled to the right pretty bad.
Talked to Kevin and ended up buying his new adjustable lowers.
put them on last night took it to the alignment shop this morning.
Just got a call from them and it all aligned up now with no probs!!

Not even sure if this deserves a spot in the Newbie forum. Its basically a plug with no technical merit.

well at least kevin is moving forward with his design. now all he need to do is build a new lower profile front truss.

why that kit was ever released with fixed long arms is beyond me

No real reason to have or need adj. arms if you weld the mounts where they need to be and stay within specd tire sizes.

Adj arms only add a few things to the design place for it to break, cost and the ability to fix bent frames(sort of)

How many people adj. their arms more than once. not counting pinion angles because they have always been adj for that.

I have only adjusted my arm once when I installed them a few years ago.

Couldn't disagree more.

i guess it would be ok if you want to keep within a couple inches of your lift and same size tires/axles the whole time

most people buy long arms with stock or semi stock axles. then get into it then thye swap for larger. do you think the brakets will line up again?

for the amoutn of time it takes to make tem adjustable. why not do it to compete with the larger LA guy's.

Can't say I blame `em. Think about it from a cost stand point. The added labor & materials just doesn't make since for 90% of the LA kits that will get sold. I know my arms would have been 20 or 30 bucks cheaper each if I had just measured them and built them to the correct length. The only reason I went adjustable is because I'm a shade tree, and I know it. It would be near impossible for me to get everything lined up perfectly without some level of adjustment. (beyond that offered by the cam bolts)

If you're getting to the point of doing full width axle swaps and "big LAs", and don't know how to make your arms (adjustable or not), you've got a lot more problems on your hands.

I made my LCAs adjustable, but now that I'm looking at it, if I need to extend my WB by more than an inch or so, I'm going to need to build new arms anyway.
