I just got done installing 8.8 and also removed all abs sensors. So what fuse/relay do you pull turnthe dash light off. You have at power center under hood C. ABS Pump relay--G. ABS system relay-also have #8 ABS module fuse and #10 ABS pump fuse. Then inside fuse box #15 ABS module and relay. Just need to know what to pull. Thanks

Yeah but I'm not in the mood to take the dash all apart but if thats the only option. I thought someone on here posted they pulled a fuse and a relay to get the light to go off.

if you pull the fuse and relay it'd probably go off too.

taking the dash part takes all of 2 minutes if you know what you're doing.

put the original axle back in then put the sensor back on that should turn the light off. HA HA, ok not an option huh then take the bulb out of the dash easiest and safest for any other components. only take obout 10 minutes if you have taken the dash apart before.

OKAY heres what you do-- takes less than 30 seconds

1. Pull the #15 fuse (3amp abs module & relay fuse) in the pass. side dash fuse panel

2. Pull the G relay (abs system fuse) under the hood

Then the light goes out

Maybe on some years. On my 98, I had to pull the bulb.

That info might help me. I've been meaning to look that up. This past Sunday I was on a downhill with semi-loose dirt & stone. The ABS just kept kickin. ABS has never done me any good. Away it goes. I thought I'd just leave it until an axle or brake upgrade, but tired of it.

I didn't even yank the bulb,... I just put a piece of black electirical tape over the opening where the bulb shines through.
