Anyone know the part number I need for the input seal/bearing on the 231. The old seal on the 231 is too deep/thick, not allowing the input shaft to fully "stick out" .
I am in the middle of the swap and this is the only thing holding me up.
249 is 52098539
231 is 52097890
Guess I could take the one of the 249 and put it on the 231?
Thanks in advance.
Hmm, not sure. But, you should have a year on the T Case, and probably could figure out what it came out of, so that might work out at Napa or wherever.

Ya, Napa's been very helfpul in hunting down seals and such like that with me, as long as I get them a vehicle year and what transfer case it was. Just find someone very patient behind the parts counter
Oh and JBconversions is sometimes willing to help too, even if you don't give them any business.
