No, go put some 13's on your jeep.

I'd say stay 15's. Tires are WAY cheaper with 15in vs 16in. One of the few disadvantages of a 15 is you can't fit huge brake rotors, but not many guys have rotors that big. but those who do :prayer:

15s - standard size. Big enough to fit on most common axles (even 3/4 ton ones with a little effort) while still having great bead retention.

16s - oddball size, loosing popularity. More expensive tires, less bead retention, but better sidewall stability compared to a 15.

16.5s - this size is as good as dead. It's expensive and you loose you tire pressure easily due to the lack of a safety bead on the wheel.

17s & 20s - the new cool kid sizes. Still expensive, but becoming standard on more trucks so they're widely supported. 20s happen to have a high # of military applications so there's lots of big tires out there that'll fit. Poor bead retention compared to a 16, but more stability....

Short answer, if you're not running beadlocks, 15s (or small as possible) is best. Stay the fawk away from 16.5s. If you're running double beadlocks, then your options are open and larger rim sizes offer more stability with the bigger meats. I'd say up to a 35, stick with 15s, then up to a 40, maybe 16s or 17s and above 44 or so consider the 20s....
