What is everyone using to scan codes? (besides the key trick)
I'm looking for something that gives a nice amount of info.

Is using something like autotap (since i alreayd have the laptop) better than a handheld?

Thanks

Doesn't AW have a Snap-On scan tool?

ODBII has the key trick too, until 1998

Other than that, i use my autotap.

Does the autotap work as well as thier website shows?
Did you spend the $99 to get the 'chrysler data upgrade'?

I have an AutoXray EZ-Read 1000 and it works well for both OBDI and II. I kind of wish I would have bought the EZ-Scan 6000 instead, but the 1000 does what it's supposed to do - it even tells you what the code means. I think it was around $170 shipped and included a generic OBDII cable and three manufacturer specific OBDI cables. I've seen them for around $125 with only the OBDII cable.
