Coming home from the movies last evening, my son (He of buried SJ & XJ fame.) eliminated a large tom turkey in mid-flight at about 70mph. (He admits to 70, so he was probably doing 90.) The 20+ lb bird was exploded after hitting the bar from the middle all the way across the passengers side bar outboard of the headlight. To picture the damage, visualize a new bullbar with feathers stuck to the metal. It did hit one of the KC Hilites hard enough to take out the bulb (shock) without damaging the light housing or lens. Also, the bullbar itself "rotated" back. The trailing edge of the bumper is farther away from the fender than the front. We'll pull it straight, then remove it to check for hidden damage to the uniframe. I might reinforce it a little, and, no, I won't modify the crumple zones.
