Okay you know I now have my tranny temp gauge up and running, now I need to know what temp I should start to worry about.
Looks to run right between 150-175, and I am not sure if this is good or bad.
I think you're OK at those temps. I remember seeing aux tranny cooling systems that didn't turn on the fan until 180.

Mine usually seems to stay in the 160's, I don't really know what I'm looking for either though.

So I gather my 150-175 is right there. It did spike up yesterday to right about 200-210 but then eased back down.
So I think I am in good shape, now all I need to do is fix the damn leak.

Dirk,
how much clearance did you have with the new tranny pan ?

Everything was fine accept the front pass. side. It was hitting the exhaust pipe so I took a pry bar and tweaked it a little and it clears but is really close.
Not the way I will leave it, when I do the long arms the exhaust will get worked on at that time and this is an area I will address.
