i have a 2000 grand cherokee v8 with a np-247. i was wondering what SYE fits that transfercase. ive heard that the 231 t-case has the same spline count and was wondering if i could use that SYE on my 247.

Why do you feel you need an SYE?? Very few Grands actually run one, even at 6"+ of lift.

ohh i thought that i would need one because i just got an 8 inch lift for it and i always hear ppl talking bout getting a SYE or just a cv driveshaft after 4 + inches of lift

once i get some bigger axles i def plan on running 37 mt/r's. need to get a few (haha a few) more buck for gears and arb air lockers. for right now im running 33 mt/r's on 15 by 8 rockcrawlers. i have the a44 in the back of the truck right now. cant get lockers for it, well besides aussie.

Yup.

33's on 3.5", don't need to be any taller to clear 'em, just have to like the sawzall. A WJ will clear 33's just fine around 6" with VERY minimal trimming.

That's 8.5" more lift than I have to clear 33's!! If he's smoking the :weedman: , he needs to pass dat shit!!! PUFF PUFF PASS, not PUFF PUFF PUFF PUFF, you're fucking up the rotation!! You're lucky I know you!!!

lol, i dnt have enough money to put better axles in the jeep right now, so i was going to go with 33's. if you guys think that the d30 and 44a could handle the 35's ill def put thoses on for now. i do plan on bigger and better axles for the future. i plan on getting some d60 axles from the junk yard and put 4.56 gears and arb air locker in.

Stay away from the RK kit. Go with Claytons. Yes, he uses their springs, but the arms are different.
