I was thinking some things through and I was wondering what is ideal for a clayton's style 4 link setup: equal length arms, LCA's longer or UCA's longer... and if either the uppers or lowers should be longer, then by how much? Lol and lastly what would the ideal length for rear LA's be?

Thanks!

Got a 4link calculator?

Placement of the arms is just as important.

A general rule of thumb is that the uppers should be around 75% of the lowers.

New JJ? I had no idea they were re-engineering their joints. Here's what their webpage has:

RK redid their Krawler joint a while back. Those still suck from everything i've read.

if you make the arms the same length that is a safe way of designing it decause it usually come out around 90-100% anti squat. depending on your CA braket locations. my arms are almost the same length but the uppers a bit shorter and with my braket placment i'm around 125%. and it works VERY well.

i would play around with a few difrent designes in the caculator to find otu what works well for you.

what type of wheelin are you into? that will make a difrenct to how you tune your suspension to work in the enviroment you usually play in. my desing is V2.0 and it took me about 7 months of engineetring to finalizr the design.

originally I was going to do equal length uppers and lowers with one being slighly longer than the other (still deciding how I want to redo the multilink mount on the axle). Rock crawlin is where its at for me.

slightly as in +/- 1"... I wasn't sure if I wanted to mount the uppers ontop of the axle like this:

Or mount them infront like Clayton's and how I did Kevin's
