I saw this today. Appears to just be a bracket that bolts to the hub. Seems like an interesting solution. Just something I'd never seen before. The price for the whole kit is rediculous. Wonder if they sell the brackets seperately?

Not sure if it uses heims or what though. I've heard that heims make for sloppy steering. My buddy runs them on his TJs steering system and doesn't like them. Although he is running 36s.

That really is creative, I'm not sure how I feel about it though. I can't decide if it deserves an award for creativity, or deserves to be on the scary steering page...

lol can you imagine the pain you would feel if the bolts sheered off or something

I doubt the bracket would break. It looks as if it uses a large bolt and bolts to the hole where the old TRE mounts. Those pictures of it really suck, but I think that's the way it's mounted. It's not just that 3/16ths steel bolted to the hub :D

there are a few TJ/YJ kits doing that type of bracket. Can't remember them of the top of my head though...

Anyone know if it's possible to buy the brackets seperately? I bet I could fab up the same thing as they're selling for a fraction of the price if I were so inclined...

I love this board!
evertime i feel like building something new but not sure what i can always find it here.
i like using a tie rod better though and i think with that set up i might be able to add another inch or so of clearence maybe save some linkage from the rocks...........

seems to me like a half assed solution. I know I personally would want anything my steering is bolted to, to be attached via vertical bolts not horizontal bolts like on the hub in that pic. The main reason I went to a 44 was because there is no good steering options for the D30.
