View Full Version : WTF was ford thinking when designing calipers?

Ok so everything is pretty much set w/ the 8.8. Will have pics later tomorrow of everything. But one minor setback while trying to run the brakelines. The way the calipers are notched make you mount the banjo bolt with the rubber hose coming completely away from the axle tube. How in the hell can i route it so that my shock won't be interfering without putting TOO much of a bend on that hose.

After brakelines it should be good to go so I'm anxious. Anybody got a pic?

ya well be thankfull that you don't put in the 3/4 ton 44 and find otu that you have to dissasemble the whole wheel/hub assembly just to do the frnt brealks.

Actually I think my calipers were mounted wrong in that pic. Bleeders should be up... :twisted:

i just routed the line around like what is in the pic and put the screw in the stock spring perch hole. Should work just fine.
