Hey guys, I added a second battery where the stock airbox used to be. Since then I feel some vibes between 40-50 mph. It is not DW (I unfortunately am an expert at DW), it is like the very beginning of DW before it gets out of control.

I replaced my SS as I knew that was bad but the vibes are still the same.

I know the new battery added about 45 pounds or so, do you think this would have been enough to affect the alignment??

if adding a battery effects the steering that much, I'd say something is wrong. A SS shouldn't have any effect either.
Are your tires balanced?

I'm betting tire balance, that battery up there shouldn't effect your steering at all...

definately check the wheels for mud, ice, etc. I went up skiing in northern michigan last week and after plowing through 14in of snow with warm wheels from the 4 hour drive, ice had built up about an inch thick on the inside of my wheels! I couldnt go over 40-45mph without feeling like DW was about to set in. GL
