View Full Version : Trailer hitch pulling off unibody...

Under the jeep today changing the gear oil and noticed that my trailor hitch is pulling off my unibody. basically the frame is ripping where the trailor hitch mounts. any suggestions on what to do? may have some pics up soon of what im talking about.

the most ive towed is a jet ski, and i use it to get towed out when i get stuck thats about it.... ill get pics up as soon is i get my jeep back, pinion bearing is being replaced

Did you buy it used? Perhaps the previous owner used it to tow over rated loads.

I say a Astro Van with a similar problem and it was do to too heavy of a load and mounting bolts were loose where it attached to the uniframe.
