 Yes, I have looked. And looked. I can't find the hole to run my diff breather from on my front Waggy 44. When I got the axle, it didn't have a hose on it. I figure I need a breather though. Anyone with a Waggy 44 up front know where the damn thing is? :?:

^ yup, right on top of the pumpkin.

AMC 360s are notorious for oil leaks, so most waggys have a lot of gunk right about there from 20 years of dirt and oil build-up.....probably why you can't see it...

Ah, I see now... That is covered up by my UCA mount. I bought the axle set up and I guess the guy just slapped the mount on right over the breather. At least that means I'm not retarded, but I dont know where to go from here. IF I drill a new hole, I'll need to get all the metal shavings out. If I don't drill one at all, the seals will bust. Suggestions?

As you drill have someone hold a shop vac close to the bit. Hold a rag on the inside to catch any that might fall in. Tap the hole with the rag still below the hole.

Pray it all out with some brake Kleen. Install cover. Install breather. Fill with oil. enjoy

Will do. Didn't think about using a shopvac. Sounds like a good way to do it.

you probably already did it, but just an FYI, I have this telescoping magnetic part finder dealy from NAPA that works geat for collecting those shavings. Any magnet would do the trick.....I used a shopvac too but prefered the magnet....

Actually I haven't already done it. It'll get drilled next week when I'm back home from school and have access to decent tools and workspace. I'll be sure to get a magnet in there.
