i was about to build a new tracbar and wanted to ask a couple ?s before i wasted a bunch of parts.
if using a rodend and a bushing, any problems with the rod end at the axle?
any + or - to using misalin. spacers on said rodend?
any -'s other than noise with using rodens on both sides and ditch the bushing?
is a z shaped bar better than a straight for reasons other than clearence?
what would be the min on wall thickness for tubing?

I would imagine .120 wall as the thinnest I would ever go.

Straighter is stronger. They bend them to clear the pumpkin and stuff.

Rod ends are fine. Loud... but fine. Just make sure you put them in double sheer.

Definitly double shear!

Guy we wheel with broke his 3rd bolt on the Currie track bar b/c its single shear.

ive got some 1 1/2 x 1/4 wall dom with tube inserts 3/4 rod ends i wanted to use but i dont have a 1 1/2 die for my jd2. i dont think i would bend it very easy with a 6ft pull bar anyway. lower mnt is out of 2x4x1/4 and the upper is stock with some 2x4 welded to it.
